The seven original tunes represent the “blue-collar working man” themes that have graced Denis DeVito’s compositions of the past. The new material touches on unchartered subjects like the “tumultuous Mexican border”, “Jack Kerouac-ish train hopping” and “down on their luck street survivors”. The new release also includes a bunch of classic cover tunes that have been apart of their live repertoire for many years. Hank William’s “Hey Good Lookin”, Doug Kershaw’s “Louisiana Man” and Squeeze’s “Goodbye Girl”.
